Holy crap. I cannot tell you how excited I am. This is comparable to an NYC In 'n' Out. Expect a massive comparison of the Holy Trifecta- Five Guys, Shake Shack, and if my man Rod loves me, a double-double from In 'n' Out.Comment here on what you'll order and I'll post with more updates soon!
That IS the ultimate comparison. In n Out still my favorite, but we have Shake Shack here in DC and it's my go to. Really good.

ReplyDeleteHmm.... Shake Shack in New Haven sounded like a good idea, until you placed it on the same level with In 'n' Out. I am pretty sure that whoever coined the phrase "absence makes the heart grow fonder" was a left-coaster returning home after a long trip to the "right" coast and realizing, brokenheartedly, that he had not been missing much while he was away. Five Guys: absolutely, In 'n' Out, no way. But, on the subject of shakes worth travelling for if you live in the *Havens, and if your political leanings allow... Chick-Fil-A! SO sinful, they can't even sell them on Sunday.
